Every Child Develops Differently, but When Should You Be Concerned?

June 15, 2026 · By Super Admin

It is natural for children to reach milestones — sitting, talking, walking, reading — at their own pace. But some patterns are worth a closer look rather than a "wait and see" approach.

  • Loss of previously acquired skills at any age
  • No response to their name by 12 months
  • No meaningful words by 18 months
  • Persistent difficulty with eye contact or social engagement

An early developmental assessment does not mean something is "wrong" — it means your child gets the right support at the age when the brain is most responsive to it.
